About Us

Angus Business Support was set up in April 2008 by Theresia Piggott who realised that there were many businesses who, for varying reasons, did not have enough staff or the skills to keep up with ever increasing work loads.

Theresia is an independent, freelance PA working from her own premises.  She offers a professional, confidential and reliable office administration service, allowing you to use your own area of expertise to better effect.

Whether you are a sole trader, private individual, or a large multi-national, the services of Angus Business Support are available for your use as and when you require them.

Theresia started her career as a Junior Clerkess/Typist with a manufacturing company, progressing to Accounts/Wages Clerk and Secretary to the General Manager.  She has since had a variety of roles with different companies including audio typing, general admin work and Accounting Assistant with a large firm of Chartered Accountants in Edinburgh.

For over twenty years she ran a remote Highland Estate office, taking holiday bookings, maintaining deer and cattle records, making travel bookings, payroll, cash flow forecasts etc.  This in addition to catching up and tagging Highland calves and feeding wild boar!

In recent years she has been employed as a Manufacturing Administrator with a large manufacturing company, responsible for the production of statistics and reports, correspondence, PowerPoint presentations and general administration.  Theresia also designed and maintained various databases and spreadsheets enabling easy and effective extraction of relevant information required by management.

Theresia left her job to pursue a career as a self employed Virtual Assistant.  She is still on excellent terms with her former employers and has worked for them since.
